Brittany Murphy: Mum Plan's To Unviel Britany's Biography

Sharon Murphy, mother of Clueless co-star, Brittany Murphy, says a biography of the deceased actress is on the way.

"Brittany was a kind, loving person who enjoyed each day; she was my life,"  she told E!. "This book will be my way of celebrating and honoring her extraordinary life and career."

Murphy is best known for her work in the movies 8 Mile, Clueless, and Sin City. She also voiced Luanne Platter on King of the Hill.

Sharon Murphy did not mention a release date for the upcoming book.

“I am looking forward to everyone reading the accurate account about my daughter, her life, loves, and career," Sharon Murphy added. "A portion of the proceeds that I receive from the book will be donated to charity.”

Brittany Murphy died last December after going into cardiac arrest. An autopsy found that she died due to a combination of prescription drugs and pneumonia.

Her husband, Simon Monjack, was found dead a few months later, after having recently started up the Brittany Murphy Foundation charity.
