The contest tagged "can you name this sound?" is one of the spookiest should-be-banned-from-radio 'nightmare on air' I've heard in a scary while - really spooky stuff! The crazy part is you have to guess what the sound is - i think its the sound of a buy drowning..dunno!

Jeffrey Landrigan escaped from an Oklahoma prison in 1989 then murdered and Arizona man after robbing him at gunpoint.

On Tuesday night, after a long awaiting death sentence, Jeffrey Landrigan was executed. His last words were "Boomer Sooner" - a popular rally cry  for the Oklahoma Sooners. 

The University of Oklahoma features 19 varsity sports teams. Both men's and women's teams are called the Sooners, a nickname given to the early participants in the land rushes which initially opened the Oklahoma Indian Territory to non-native settlement.

Landrigan, though executed in Arizona, hailed from Bartlesville, Oklahoma and was obviously a fan of the Sooners.

The 'book-thrower,' flung the book while President Obama and Vice President Biden spoke before a crowd of about 18,000 supporters in Philadelphia.

While the incident alarmed attendees, it was apparently harmless.

Apparently Juan James Rodriguez had written the book and hoped the president would read it. secret service spokesperson Ed donovan says " the man posed no danger."

The 41-year-old reporter, Charles Leaf, was being held on charges that include sexual assault and endangering the welfare of children.

The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office did not reveal many details of the incident other than the 4-year-old girl was an acquaintance of Leaf's and was assaulted inside his home.

Leaf was also ordered to surrender his passport and have no contact with the victim.
