Rape Charge Against Joseph Tarnopolski Dropped After 14yr old Victim (Samantha Kelly) Commits Suicide

Joseph Tarnopolski walks free since key witness to his alleged crime is dead.

Samantha Kelly killed herself on Monday. With the death of key witness, prosecutors dropped criminal charges against 18-year-old Joseph Tarnopolski, stating they had no case without the accuser's testimony.

Joseph Tarnopolski had been charged recently with third degree sexual assault after being accused of rape by Samantha Kelly. Tarnopolski, 18, maintains the sex was consensual.

The teens attended the same high school, and after Samantha Kelly’s identity was revealed, other students, allegedly friends of Joseph Tarnopolski, began bullying her.

Samantha Kelly took her own life Monday night, November 8, 2010.

A candlelight vigil is going to be held to show support and love for the Michigan girl Samantha Kelly, who committed suicide after enduring merciless taunting from the classmates after they knew that high school freshman had accused a senior of rape.

The main objective of this rally is to remember the bullied teen Samantha Kelly and her pain, who gave up on her life at the young age of 14 years, after she was bullied at school.


A rally is scheduled today for Samantha Kelly and the word about the protest spread on Facebook. Dozens of people gathered to show love and support to Samantha Kelly, Thursday night outside the mobile home in Huron Township southwest of Detroit, where the bullied teen hanged herself.

It has been reported that Samantha Kelly's funeral is Sunday at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home in Flat Rock; visitation is Saturday at the funeral home.

Barely a montha ago, 13 yr old Hope Witsell committed suicide after being bullied a topless photo leaked at school.

I Sincerely oped that Hope Witsell's Death amd the media attention it recieved would help clamp down bullying in schools.. i guess victims now see suicide as a way out of a bully spree.
